Annual Member Participation Contest

Starting in 2024, the club is conducting a yearlong contest to recognize the member who does the most to participate in club activities. Points are awarded for a number of activities.

  • Meeting attendance
  • Proposing roundtable program topics and meeting theme ideas (if accepted)
  • Building new models (both in general and in response to a monthly theme)
  • Bringing models to meetings to discuss in the member gallery
  • Preparing and conducting a program for other members at a meeting
  • Assisting with club recruiting activities, such as distributing flyers and posters
  • Maintaining an IPMS-USA membership

The member who earns the most points during the year will be recognized at the annual Holiday Party in December.

* Each builder MUST provide a WRITTEN description of each model within 7 days of the meeting to earn ANY points. A template for the information needed is included on this website. If a model is claimed to meet either, or both, themes, the description MUST include justification for that claim. The club president will make an initial decision to uphold or challenge each claim. If the president disagrees, other officers will be polled, and the majority opinion will decide whether the claim is accepted.
